About the Fun Behind the Lens
Photography found me during a season of profound loss.
When someone I loved dearly passed away, I found myself searching through every photograph I could find. Suddenly, the ordinary moments meant everything. The smiles i had seen a thousand times. The laughter frozen in a single frame. The quiet reminders that love leaves behind.
In those moments, I realized something that changed me forever.
Photographs are more than images.
They become the places we return to when our hearts long to remember.
That is why I do what I do.
Whether I’m documenting a family in the middle of a joyful season, two people deeply in love, a faithful companion, or an individual celebrating who they’ve become, my purpose remains the same- to preserve the moments that deserve to love far beyond the day they happened.
I don’t believe the most meaningful photographs are perfectly posed.
